A friendly and reliable dog boarding service in Edinburgh
Sheena’s Dog Boarding provides a comfortable, secure and caring atmosphere for small and medium sized breeds. Based in my own home, boarding dogs are limited to two at a time, so they can all get the individual care and care they need and deserve.
Sheena’s Dog Boarding service is as far from the kennel experience as you can get. As well as plenty of one-on-one attention, dogs can use the whole house and I use no cages, unless previously arranged with the owner.
Peace of mind for you
Sheena’s Dog Boarding is licensed by the City of Edinburgh Council for dog boarding and dog walking and covered by specialist pet insurance. I am a certified canine first aider and previously worked as a nurse. I am able to administer medication and dog injections and provide frail or sick dogs with all the care and attention they need.
Distance should not mean that you have to lose touch. For the clients that wish to stay in close contact with their pets, I can provide pictures, videos and general updates during their stay with me via secure messaging service or social media.

Sheena’s Dog Boarding service is conveniently located in the Bellevue area, part of Edinburgh city centre, and is easily accessible by public transport. The house has a private driveway for easy parking.
There are plenty of beautiful spots for long walks nearby, including the dog-friendly St. Mark’s Park, Pilrig Park and the leafy banks of the Water of Leith. Dogs are also welcome to use the small garden at the back of the house.
